text=&#8221;\u03a4he reliability of the department is primarily based on the experience and specializations of the Head of the Department, Biopathologist Dr. George Georgoulias, M.D. Spanning 20 years as a full\u2013time scientific officer at the Henry Dunant Hospital Centre, Dr. Georgoulias has been responsible for all diagnostic tests performed on patients who were examined in outpatient clinics. In addition, Dr. Georgoulias gained thorough experience through his daily work and his dedication to the subject, holding the position of scientific director of Locus Medicus microbiological laboratory since 2006.<br \/>\nDr. Georgoulias\u2019 and the laboratory\u2019s expertise is centered around the infections, as well as the clinicolaboratory justifications, behind a couple\u2019s infertility. This department is responsible for issuing case-specific treatment plans, and determining the guidelines that are to be followed for the treatment of more complex and persistent chronic genital infections. Additionally, his daily interaction and collaboration with his fellow clinical and laboratory scientists at Locus Medicus, has greatly contributed to broad knowledge of the nature of diseases at hand, as well as understanding of the measures to be taken for the prevention of future resurgence and relapse.<br \/>\nThe Microbiology department staff consists of highly trained Technologists, with many years of targeted experience and knowledge. \u2028The laboratory has acquired all up-to-date certifications and frequently performs internal and external systematic quality controls.
