Announcement Of New Cooperation

Locus Medicus and Melior Med Laboratories announce the commencement of collaboration in the investigation and treatment of infertility and miscarriages.

In February 2024, the scientific representatives of LOCUS MEDICUS, based in Athens, and MELIOR MED LABORATORIES, based in Tirana, established a collaboration on infertility and miscarriage investigation.  Locus Medicus specializes in this field over the last 26 years. Given the possibility and willingness to establish and operate a specialized center for couple infertility investigation in Tirana, the first joint work has already started.

The collaboration will involve sharing Know-How, laboratory support from L.M. for specialized but necessary tests which, due to lower demand, cannot be established in Albania, setting up a network of counseling for couples and working with doctors in the form of direct response. In addition to providing expertise and services, our objective is to develop scientific cooperation, through joint participation in conferences, publication of research results, and undertaking joint research projects.

Both sides jointly express our optimism for the future.
